Q: What is ProNox?
A: ProNox is a nitrous oxide delivery system for pain management. ProNox uses a 50/50 combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide that is inhaled to provide fast-acting pain relief that increases comfort and aids in calming anxiety. ProNox is not general anesthesia and will not put you to sleep. It can work in conjunction with local anesthetic to minimize pain or discomfort and lower stress.
Q: How does ProNox work?
A: Nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas,” is well-established as a fast-acting mild sedative. While nitrous oxide has been used in medical settings for many years, ProNox is innovative in its delivery approach. ProNox has a self-administered system that empowers you to control your own comfort level. ProNox features the latest and advanced delivery systems and safety mechanisms.
Q: When can ProNox be used?
A: ProNox can be used whenever comfort is a concern. Most commonly, ProNox is added onto filler appointments ($100 charge) or laser appointments ($150 charge). ProNox comes complimentary with all Morpheus8 procedures.
