HALO LASER
Halo restores your skin’s youthful glow. Over time, sun damage and the body’s natural aging process can cause your skin to have sun spots, fine lines, and lose its natural, healthy glow.
Everyone has different needs for their unique skin. As a customizable treatment, Halo fits perfectly into your busy lifestyle. Need to be back to work tomorrow? A light treatment creates smooth, vibrant skin that’s ready for makeup the very next day. Want to WOW them? A more intense treatment will give your skin a youthful glow with just a few days of downtime.
WHAT MAKES HALO SPECIAL
As the world’s first Hybrid Fractional Laser, Halo delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone. This dual-wavelength feature means that you can attain great results with minimal downtime.

HALO Q&A
Q: What results can I expect?
A: Halo is a complete skin revitalization treatment. You will see overall improvements in your skin including a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size, skin reflectivity and glow in addition to significant removal of discoloration.
Q: How many treatments should I have?
A: What’s great about Halo is that you can choose how many treatments you want! Discuss with your aesthetic provider your needs and you can choose to have one or two more aggressive treatments or have multiple treatments that are less aggressive and achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time.
Q: What should I expect during the treatment?
A: An hour before the treatment, we will apply a topical anesthetic cream on your skin to reduce the sensation during the procedure. We'll then reapply another coat for maximum comfort 30 minutes before the procedure. The area will be measured with motion tracking technology to ensure the area is treated evenly. Your aesthetic provider will treat each measured section by uniformly rolling the Halo handpiece over the skin until the system recognizes the treatment is complete.
With the topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience mild to moderate discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations, but are generally comfortable.
After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 15 to 30 minutes, or a bit longer with deeper treatment levels. During the treatment and after the treatment, we utilize a Zimmer Cryotherapy cooling machine. The Zimmer machine is intended to minimize pain and thermal injury during laser treatments. Unlike other cooling methods, such as contact cooling, cryogen spray or ice packs, the Zimmer machine can cool the epidermis during and after the laser energy has been applied, without interfering with the laser beam. Studies also have shown that chilling with the Zimmer cold air device reduces the patient’s pain sensitivity resulting in much better tolerance of the treatment.
You may also elect to add ProNox Nitrous Oxide for maximum comfort. Please let your aesthetic provider know when scheduling your appointment if this is something you are interested in.
Q: How soon after my treatment can I return to normal activities?
A: For the first 24 hours you should keep your skin protected according to aesthetic providers instructions. We will provide you with a post care kit that includes all of the skincare products we'd like for you to use for the first week.
After the first 24 hours your skin will begin to peel, but you will be able to put on makeup. For a facial treatment, you will see very little change on the first day. After two to three days you will develop a light bronzing appearance. By day three or four your skin will peel, revealing your new skin beneath. Healing time varies patient to patient.
Q: When will I see results?
A: You will see initial results between two and five
days after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.
Q: How long do results last?
A: Your Halo results will last for a couple of years, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional Halo treatment you get will only improve the results, giving you even better looking skin. We typically recommend a yearly maintenance treatment after your initial treatment(s).
Q: How much is a Halo treatment?
A: Every Halo treatment is customized for your skin, and your lifestyle. Depending on your needs, your aesthetic provider may recommend a single treatment, or a series of treatments.
